There’s something about hand-making birthday cards. To start with, I enjoy receiving cards myself. Especially when it comes to holidays and birthdays, I always accumulate a little collection of cards. Then, I will keep my little pile of cards on display for about a month. Every glance at my colourful collection lined up on top my bookcase brings a warm feeling into the heart. They remind me of people who cares for me and I always appreciate their kind thoughts. This is the reason why I take card-giving seriously 🙂 As I shopped in front of the giant selection of cards, I thought to myself what can I make that person feel even more special? Why not make your own? The process of card making can be a process of pouring your caring thoughts into the little piece of craft you made for that special person. On the receiving end, I think my not-so-perfect card will carry the sincere message that says “you mean so much to me” ~
Welcome to TammyHomesweetHome! As a new member of the WordPress blogging community, I thought it would be appropriate to start my first blog with a bit of introduction. I will use this platform to archive one of the biggest love affair of my life, which is called homemaking: those little projects that I work on here and there to make a place comfy and special for people I love.
Homemaking is not a stand-alone entity, as it is made of many different aspects as well as devoted effort. I found commonality in blogging as it also requires commitment and hard work.
In the process of improving my skills in homemaking and exploring the best sharing platform, I have been running a personal food blog featuring my home cooking recipes for a little while now, and have accumulated some delicious recipes. I’d like to share the link down below for those who are looking forward fixing an easy homemade meal. Recently, I have just put up a YouTube channel that is dedicated to the same purpose as this blog.
However, I am planning to use this blog as my main blog page to share and organize my homemaking ideas and projects. Hope my blog can light up a cozy little corner your heart and put a smile on your faces 🙂
